I am wondering the same thing, which springs to get... Are coil overs a necessity ?

Coil overs aren't neccassary, but they do stiffen up the ride a bit. The 06+ suspension is too soft & spongy imho. Springs alone won't do much except lower/ raise the car.

At the moment, that is all I want to do. I love the ride, I do miss the stiffer ride of the 03... But since I am doing a lot more long period of time drives, It is nice, not track time yet =)

Coilovers are the way to go. Tein basics are a good first set and hard to go wrong with from what I hear.

+1, I'm looking into the Eibach pro kit. According to Eibach, they're designed to work with OEM struts so coilovers would be overkill for my needs.

I just put RSR Ti2000s on my car, and it sits just right now! Specs say lowers the car .6 inches, which is about right I guess. Small change in ride, but worth it!!!!!
