Default Eibach spring question

Does anyone else on here have eibach sportline springs? i've had mine installed for a while and want to compare the ride height with others who have them as well. They say its a 1.2 inch drop, but i think its really alot more...see pic

i dont mind the look, but i wasnt expecting such a big drop, anyone else experience this problem?

i have the eibach pros and i'm in the same boat as you, my damn front wheels are almost under my fenders, and it wasn't supposed to drop that much.

no, it looks fine, but the negative camber is a little too much, and large bumps are horrible!

Eibach springs have been known to sag lower than the claimed drop rates. Ive had 3 cars with both of their pro and sportline springs go twice as much as the claimed drop.

The sportlines have a serious drop no matter what car you put them on. A buddy of mine put them on his Eclipse and it was ridiculously low.

What kind of damage would happen with large bumps? Also were you running pros or sports?

i have the sportlines.....i havent really gotten any damage, and i've scraped really bad sometimes, one time i thought i was gonna get stuck! the brace right before the rear wheels scrapes so im not too worried about that, but i could see how damaging something vital like a brake line or fuel line is possible, because i can see where the undercoating of the car has been scraped off, and its too close to them for comfort!

Just installed my Eibach Pro-Kit springs & rear camber arms. Here are some pics. Before I was able to put four fingers in between my wheel well arch and the top of the tire for the rear and three fingers in the front. Now, I can only put one finger in the fronts and two in the rears. I got the Ichiba 20/25mm spacers on the way so that should make things look more flush as well. The ride is, so far, identical with OEM. No more bouncy or harsh. On the track, maybe there will be a difference but I didn't get these springs for track use. I love the drop and the ride! I'm thinking with 19" or 20" rims, the remaining wheel gap will be even smaller. I think this is the way the car should've come from the factory! The car does not look "dropped" and yet, does not have the "factory" raised up look. Let me know what youse guys think?

That's what I love about these springs! I'm not a big fan of drastic mods, I didn't want my car to "look dropped." I just wanted it to look...right. Feel, me? You know how you can see some cars and immediatley you can tell it's "dropped?" And other cars, you look at and can tell that it's bone stock?

What I'm going for is a stock "look," but at a glance you can "feel" that something is not quite stock. For reference, here's a pic of the car BEFORE the Eibach Pro-Kits:
Note how "lifted" the rear end looks....

20"? Now that's what I'm talking about! You gotta post pics, bro?

BTW, thanks for the compliments. My rear cambers aren't dialed in 100% yet. I'm waiting a few weeks to take it in and have them adjusted by a pro and an alignment machine.

Everything should have settled by now.

mine looks exactly like that. with the 20s it doesnt look like it drops that low. you can only really tell by looking at the distance b/w the body and ground. it didnt close the tire/well gap any for me. i put the eibachs on though. I will post pics, i have to find my camera though first

Please, do post pics as I am interested in how 20's will look with Eibachs. Also, if you did your tire/wheel package right--it shouldn't close the wheel gap at all. That is, when changing your wheels, the overall diameter (26" front and 26.7" rear for OEM 18"x8" and 18"x8.5", respectively) should not change or else you will have speedometer and gearing issues.

Sorry, if you already knew this--I'm not, really, one to preach but thought I'd share.
