My Review: Endless CC-A pads; TRACK and STREET
Hi guys,
well, since there really isnt much info on this pad, i thought i should make a post about it for all of you to see. plus, it should give you an idea of how this pads is day to day and track driving. anyway, prepare for a long read, cuz here it goes:
First, i will tell you about my setup. i have an early model 6mt touring 2003. i have had this car since oct of 2002-i transfered traclk model brembos+ss lines to the car later that year. recently i needed a brake upgrade, so i went with 2-piece Endless Slotted rotors, and Endless Type CC-A pads along with motul 600 fluid.
I previously had a set of Endless SSS compunds on my car which were also a good pad, but they were wearing thin so i replaced them with these. according to endless, these will be filtered in to replace the sss compound.
Install: Since install is meaningless in this post, no need for any additional info. Basically, rotors fit great, and pads fit great, no problems. just what i expect from Endless.
Track day:
I installed these pads on a friday and had a track event the next day.
Track- The track i ran was Horse Thief Mile at Willow Springs. It is a short track with crazy elevation changes, 2nd-4th gear cvourse, could be done in about 1min flat depending on tires. Lots of downhill brake zones and very challenging and tight s-turns.
The day- Started off very well. I was in both run groups(drift and grip) which later turned into open track since cars were breaking, or people were tired. Started on track at about 10am with 30min sessions per group.
Car was great from the start. excellent brake FEEL and fade resistance. not one time did i ever doubt my brake sytem at all-especially on this track, no brakes=off a steep cliff.
I literally stayed on track when the sessions cycled through and first did about 45mins of total track time mainly gripping the course since i wasnt too familiar with it yet.
Car never skipped a beat, awsome handling, (see my other thread about Zeal coilovers:https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....highlight=zeal).
No fade, no glazing, nothing, repeated stops uphill, downhill, whatever i threw at these, it just took it and asked for more. i could no fault these brakes at all.
Went the rest of the day like this till track closed off at about 4pm. i took an hr for lunch, and rested every 40 or so minutes.
so, cliff notes: Track day-heavy braking. Car was awsome felt good, no fade, EXCELLENT pedal feel!
STREET:
Now, i know this is where 90% of driving occurs and this pads delivers. i expected to hear a lil noise since it was carbon semi-metallic compund. Guess whta, no noise and great initial bite. Very low dusting for a pad in this caliber which was also a major plus!
now, sometimes my car gets parked outstide, temps hit about 40* at nite and i go to the gym at 4am. no matter what they say, the brakes are there, no need for crazy temps for them to bite. awsome setup!
all in all a great pad to use day to day and very good on the track. its everything i would expect from Endless asa company.
you can find these pads at Corner3 Garage, Mynismo.com and other Endless distributors.

Pad INfo:
Endless CCA
The emergence of heavier and more powerful vehicles has led to the development of the ultimate semi-metallic, street compound with impressive pedal feel and the lowest levels of disc rotor abrasion, noise, and dust levels amongst the CC line-up. Perfect within the street temperature and speed range with a high level of braking force and controllability.
Ceramic Carbon Metal Series
Driving Field : Street
Recommended Tire Use : Radial Tires
Appropriate Rotor Temperature : 120-900 Degrees F
Average Coefficient of Friction : 0.38 - 0.45

So are these just one step up from the new SS-H? I thought that the SS-H was the newer model replacing the SSS pads this season. I have the SS-S pads and love them but I don't track the car, autox only.

According to the product brochure I have in front of me, the CCA is the base model entry for Endless ceramic pads.
Operational temperature-wise, they're 20'C lower than SS-S, but their initial bite is a bit better. For a Z, I'd think it'd wear slower than a SS-S due to the mass of the vehicle. The friction coefficient is also higher in the CC-A. The CC-A is superior to the SS-S in pedal modulation and initial bite; while inferior to the SS-S in dust and noise (normal if you keep in mind the CC is a track biased pad while the SS is a street bias pad)
