Default Stance Coilover Question

Just curious , I know a good majority of people have Stance coilovers on the car, But which is the one that SLAMS the Z to the lowest ? Is it Stance SUS or GR BASIC ? Sorry I'm new to suspensions..any input would help as I am about to purchase. Thanks !

If you want the car on the ground, just get an air bag setup. Coilovers are performance, not for "slamming".

Stance can set the car on the ground without effecting spring compression or the length the dampener can travel. Obviously, it does effect how much the suspenion can travel.

to answer you question properly, the Stance SUS I own myself and it allows you to slam your car to body-drop on the pavement; I'm getting there, slamming is great fun! The GRBASIC I have not tried so I cannot be certain, but with Stance reputation, I have little doubt that the GRBasic can ALSO slam your car to the ground as well! DO IT!

what are you doing for the negative camber issues? Have you installed an camber links or anything to straighten that out? I bet it's killer on tires.

Right now I'm running Cusco F/R Sways with my Stance SUS and the Z is a damn slot car but with total complete comfort; JUST the right amount of stiffness and comfort for that close-to-stock cushioning--then again it's all relative to how you set your shockdampening settings as well.

As for camber, I got the usual 4 wheel alignment at a good alignment shop and my fronts are slammed +2" down and the negative camber is a tad over -1.2 or so and the rears are slammed +2" and the negative camber is extreme around -3 or so. Keep in mind, I dunno how many people realize it, but the OEM rear spring perch arm IS a cambered washer/bolt system and can easily get my camber to the same as the front -1.2; but I have not rolled my fenders yet, so I forced the camber negative to have my OEM graze the rear fender tab by 1mm of clearance. No rub no scratch no sound at all.
