The problem relates to having to stick a allen key into the top to prevent the piston shaft from turning when the upper nut is tightened. Sometimes in the process you end up jamming the adjustment screw so it end's up locking in place as your experiencing. All I can suggest is to make sure your turning in the right direction and make progressive attempts that are firmer and firmer until you win and your able to make the change your after.

Hi all, while I don't own a 350z, I've just today had the same problem shortly after installing some Blitz ZZ-R's. the driver side damper adjuster **** is stuck and I believe the issue is as stated above, occurred when I tried to tighten the top nut. I was just wondering whether I should stick simply stick in a 3.5mm (that's the size it seems) hex key into the adjuster and turn it clockwise (when I was tightening the top nut, the counter direction of this was anti-clockwise). Very confused and I'm over installing coilovers on cars manufactured in recent years. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
