Default SS brake line fitment question.

Are the StopTech SS brake lines universal, or diff. per caliper application? I.E. will the lines that come with their BBKs fit my OEM Brembos?

I know the portion that connects to the inside of the wheel well will, but not too sure about the caliper fitting..

Yeah, that's the part I'm wondering about; the banjo bolt that screws into the caliper itself.

go to the stop tech web site. Call the tech support line. I've called them a few times. They're easy to get ahold of and give good advice..

my shop mentioned the banjo bolt was not designed to fit the brembo and has been modified to fit, thus unwilling to install it. I still don't know why everybody seems fine over this while my mechanic has this concern. Obviously my mechanic was concern about my safety...

Hmm, well, I'll take a look at it when I get to it and post up what I think. Basically, I happened on an extra set of front lines that came with a BBK and the part number matches what they list for the lines they sell for both OEM and OEM Brembo apps; based on that, they should work, but I won't know for sure until I get a wheel off and take a closer look.

I'm curious how your mechanic thinks the banjo bolt has been modified? Do you have any pics of it?
