If you are planning to do any type of HPDE Then by all means check your rear pads about 1/2 thru the day. These stock pads are so small that they wear out in nothing flat. I have 4000 on my car and spent 1 day on the track at Putnam Park, found out that I was down to a 1/16 of pad left. Paper thin. The fronts are good for about 2 to 3 more days. I have replaced them with Pather XP for fronts and Pather + for rears. I was very surprised how quickly they wore out.

yeah, that was my experience as well. Eric1h wore through his rear pads after 2 days. Luckily he had an extra set for the ride home.
