Uhh, oh...
So i was changing my oil today, and went ahead and looked at my sway bars to see if everything was cool. this is what i found.
Car felt fine driving so i was never worried, now the end link seems fine i just cant find the bolt, the thing just ripped off.
I heard SPL end links are good, can anyone recommend me some good stuff so this doesnt happen again. thanks...

Lol, yea not driving the car till i get it fixed. Also don't feel like taking off the other bolt to math them, does anyone know the size so i can temp. put it on for the trip to the shop.
I definitely don't wanna just get another bolt and wipe my hands, scared of this happening again.

So you been driving it god-knows-how-long and you could never tell? Now you won't drive it 20 miles to get it in the shop? I think it would be fine to drive to the shop to get fixed, just dont drive it cross-country.
PS: good reason to upgrade

1. go to nissan dealer
2. have them get the nut, using the diagram on their computer. they'll probably have it in stock. If I recall, it's either a 14mm or 17mm nut.
3. look in the service manual, FSU section (front suspension) to find the torque spec for it. Hint, page FSU-8, it's 59-70 ft-lbs of torque.
4. use loctite if you want.
5. check the other side too, and the nut on the other end of the small endlink (it's also 59-70 ft-lbs).

I know that on my Hotchkis front bar that I had a difficult time getting enough torque on that same nut/washer to keep it in place, because it would slip and pop under high load situation's. I ended up ruffing up a pair of washers and reinstalling and that kept everything in place.
I know run SPL front end links, highy recommended. Though oem end links should stil work fine for you.
