Is this noise normal, well for a Z anyway?

Kinda hard to explain but....

If you roll the backwards and apply the brakes, come to a stop, then roll forward and re-apply the brakes, is it normal to get a clunk sound from the rear wheels?

Also does it vise versa too.

It sounds like the brake pads shift a tiny bit then stop/clunk. Then when you go in the opposite direction and re-apply the brakes they shift the other way and clunk again.

It makes no other wierd noises when driving or stopping as long as you're going foreward and stopping like yer driving and drivng backwatds and stopping..

It also clunks the same as above if I lightly apply the parking brake and rock the car back and forth by hand. It does not make any noise simply moving back and forth, only when either brake is applied.

I could understand if it was the front to back play in the pads but the e-brake does it too, so I'm not sure if it's brakes or driveline now or what.

Think it's driveline lash?

^^ This is exactly what it is. The Z is known to have that noise. It's non-performance effecting. I wouldn't worry about it. Mine does it also.
