I've been holding out for an affordable set of camber rods before i do any suspension work. Any idea on the price and when they will be avalible? JmanZ dropped his car and his camber is extreme now. Thats the only reason i havent gotten springs or a coil over kit yet.

I installed the Pro Set from Eibrach and after aligment my rear cabmer is only about .10 from spec. This is after adjusting the rear as much as possible. Wil this set of camber rods be able to get the rear into spec?

negative camber makes your tires look like this

/---------\

positive would make them look like this

\-----------/

neutral or almost no camber would be like

l------------l

easiest way to explain it.

i currently have the JIC traction rods plus camber rods. i wouldn't suggest them for the price. the stillens will probably be the same for cost. i sent my old pieces to wadd for him to work with. if they can get something made it will probably be a lot cheaper than what's out now.

also if you lower your car it will add more negative camber. just imagine the effects if you have too much. my car is getting lowered tomorrow (today technicly). i'll have pics up as soon as it's done. as for camber settings i wouldn't want anything more than -.75 of camber on the car. nominal is .50 and that's where i'm at right now. the car feels a lot more balanced and breaks away a lot cleaner, with my new tires it just wants to grip all the way through hard turns.

why is a swaybar need to be adjustable?
And does a non-adjustable swaybar like NISMO not good?

Thx

KaiKai- lets you control the stiffness of the sway bar so you can change the characteristics of the suspension. Adjustable sway bars a targeted for track drivers that want to fine tune their suspension. However non adjustable sway bars work just fine for street use.

OK. So, another newbie question: what exactly do sway bars do? And how would handling/suspension benefit for street use/daily driving with a non-adjustable sway bar (e.g., Nismo's suspension setup)? I've been wondering about sway bars for a while. Oh, one more question: what do camber rods do?

Thanks for answering or pointing to places that have answers.

How sway bars work:

As for camber rods: They correct camber. If you dont know what camber is I posted a link about 5 posts above this one. 2k3silver350z also posted a description (with good visuals) above.
