Brake Pads (Matrix vs. Hawk vs. OEM)
I have a 2003 Enthusiast Model and there is an extremely annoying squealing coming from the front brakes. Also, my front brakes seem to put out a high level of brake dust. I am not a "track" person so I have no need for extreme performance or an entire upgraded braking system. What I would like to do is lower the brake dust and elminate the squeal.
I have researched 3 different sets of pads. Of course, OEM will still lead to a high level of dust. I found Matrix brake pads that are the same price and they claim: "very low levels of dust" and recommend usage with factory equipment. The Hawk pads seem like they would wear my rotors early because of their high performance attributes.
Any suggestions? Anyone out there with Matrix brake pads?
