Looking good. I have have the Tein's as well.
I think my rear has a smaller gap than yours tho? What size wheels/tires are you riding on?
The stock gap just doesn't look right, especially for a sports car.

Agreed the gap is nasty... Hell, the stock rims are nice compared to most cars.. they have an almost "porsche" feel to them.. but when you drop the car it looks 1000% better. Waiting on my hotchkis TVS to come in then I can drop and also ride flat in corners... (drool) lol

Hopefully the new wheels come in near the same time...

Doh! Yeah, mine have been installed for almost four years now. That has to be what the difference is.
On a side note, the shop who did my install suggested an alignment should be done, but only after the springs had time to settle.

I was impressed by the huge improvement in handling/cornering after the install. Great bang for the buck mod for sure.
Also, I think the hotchkis drop is slightly more than the Tein's, so you should see a big difference.

If the gap in the rear bugs you, there is always the option to trim some material from the upper rear springs mounts. I think you can get half an inch or maybe even more.

took me about three hours. My only tip is to follow this DIY. http://g35driver.com/forums/showthre...ghlight=cotter

I had all the tools I needed. As long as you have basic sockets (17mm, 12mm, 19mm, 17mm), two jacks (i had the factory and a hydrolic one), and spring compressor (rented it from pepboys, they charge you $40 but when you return it you get all your money back). I also had impact which is very helpful but probably not necessary for the install.

the rear springs are REALLY easy to do, the front take a little longer but once you do one side the other is a piece of cake.

If you have any more question let me know and I'll be glad to help you out.

Can you check that link? I just tried it and it said "Unfound URL". I am putting on Tanabe nf210s tomorrow, can I use these same instructions?

Also, anyone know how I "bind" the springs? The instructions in the box indicate that you wrap something around the spring in the areas "where the pitch of each layer narrows". I tried to search but got nothing (just to beat a few of you to the punch in the standard response given on such subjects)

Thanks for the help.
