Would bleeding the hoses help stop the squealing?

no - the noise has nothing to do with bleeding

Same noise here. Even reinstalled the pads and I am still getting the same noise. Plan on swapping the Hawks for a different pad next time.

Why in the hell would you be contacting Stillen?
And why in the hell would you buy Hawk pads from them?

guys...you need to properly bed them in, use the shims and use anti squeal.

When done correctly, they will not make any noise at all

Same situation with my roadster. Where do you get the shims and anti squeal?

Well, I'm back from my weekend at Shenandoah and they still don't squeek or squeel.

I used the backing shims, tons of the anti-squeel brake goo, and that's it.

In my opinion, if you install these correctly you will not have any noise.

The shims were on the existing pads. I got the anti-squeel goo in little tear open packets at Advance Auto by the cash registers.

Hey I was wondering about the squeal grease that you use. I have not changed the brakes on my Z yet, but at some point I'm going to change them. I was wondering where the grease goes exactly?

It goes piston->shim(wear bar metal piece)->pad->rotor right? So now where does the grease go?

Well I use Anti Sieze on my Bolts/nuts. But when my old rotors and pads got low, I sprayed the anti squeek right on the rotor(cool rotor/not hot) and the next time I drove the juice hit the pad and squeek gone for about a week. It does not fix anything really, just postpones the fact that pads/rotors need replacing.

Also, I've experienced brake dust caking up in the slotted/drilled rotors, causing squeeks. FIX: scrape that studff out with a small flat head or get some brake cleaner and spray it out.
