Default Need Help Asap!!**urgent** UPDATED!!

about a week ago i had Nissan of Clovis install my suspension set-up which consists of: Tanabe GF210, Tokico D-spec shocks, SPC front A-arms and rear camberkit. Well i remember when i picked up the vehicle they told me that my ABS light came on immediately when they test drove it and it had something to do with the front wheel speed sensor for the hub spacer kit(quoted directly from the service summary and estimate) well today when i was driving on the freeway my car started acting funny everytime i stopped. Then all of a sudden my car jerked a little stalled then started to run fine again. the car never died out. There was a noticable hum right before it jerked. Then all the lights that deal with the suspension came on. the ABS light, TCS off, SLIP, and ebrake light all came on. I'm freakin out because i dont want to be driving around town then my brakes give out. The work was warranted by the dealership so they should take care of it but just in case they can't figure it out do you guys have any idea of what it might be!! i'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow so any suggestions would be helpful!!

Take it back to the dealership... The you went in for your suspension... I see no reason for them to be touching your brakes... When they test drove the car they should have rechecked everything when all the waring lights came on... Im thinking its one of the sensors... Well, good luck with everything...

what do you expect to happen, the mechanic that worked on your car is from Fresburg! Probably can't see thru the smog.

No Shiite, I feel the same way. I have never been to a dealership that didn't break something else while they were doing other work.

well i dropped off the car yesterday morning and they told me that i have a bad front hub sensor and they said that it maybe due to the front SPC A-arms!! does this sound right??!! they said it's throwing the sensor off so they ordred brand new ones and gonna try resetting it. They are covering it under warranty but now I'm SOL for the weekend without a car. When i the service manager called me this morining it seemed that he was trying to blame the SPC front A-arms for the problem and me feel like that it shouldn't be covered under warranty but he's doing me a favor. If they can't resolve this problem i might have to go somewhere else.

If i were to venture a guess, I would say that they probably damaged the speed sensor line when trying to remove your front struts. I replaced my suspension a couple weekends ago, and that damn speed sensor line is hard to secure in any area where you won't smack it trying to remove the front strut (the working area is small, and the bottom mounting point of the strut can easily get caught on the line).

The dealership is absolutley liable for the damage they caused to your car.

Be sure to mention the fact that the car was just fine until after you picked it up from them.
