Greddy Coilover are in. Thanks, MRC!!!!!
After almost 2 years of being out of the modding due to purchasing and furnishing my home, I am finally able to return to what's really important.
This upcoming wednesday I am due at MRC for the install of the Greddy coilover system, followed by an allignment at a shop near my house.
These coilovers will join my Hotchkis sways, Brembo GT BBK and Racinghart CPF Tuner wheels to finally complete the handling mods. Since my car is not going to be lowered (Brooklyn), I am hoping not to require any additional allignment mods, like camber/toe kits.
Next up, 5AT build-up with a VB, largest core cooler I can fit, temp gauge any other way to increase the ATF capacity, followed by Cusco RS lsd.
Then, MAYBE, an FI kit...
But, anyway, coilover review to follow.

Another "schedule conflict". Due for install tomorrow @ 10am. Will post a review tomorrow evening. But don't expect much, this is my first aftermarket suspension setup ever, so I don't have much to compare it to other then stock.

OK, the coilovers are in, set to 8 clicks from the softest (Brooklyn roads...). I will only be able to get alligned tomorrow and won't get to go for a nice drive in LI till the weekend, so this review is basically the initial impression. Also, this is my first coilover system ever, so I don't have much to compare it to, other then stock.
I did not know that my car actually bounced on stock suspension, until now. There is no more bounce. The car is as soft as the stock, even though it's about 1/2 inch lower now. When running over road roughnesses you get feedback, but no discomfort. For example, I ran over a railroad crossing at 50mph at one point, the car was comfortable and composed. It feels much more confident at 80-85mph. That's about it for the initial impression. More to follow after allignment.
All in all,
I know, I'll probably be out of funds once I get the Top Gun body kit on.

Once the suspension settled it had to be raised a bit, but that's taken care of.
The car launches much better with stiffer springs in the back. I can take curves at a higher speed now. There seems to be a bit less understeer on it. Now I can't wait to get some real rubber on it.
My current susp setup is the coilovers, still at 8 clicks from softest and Hotchkis sways, set to medium.
