Default OE Brembo rotors rusted from non use. Resurface?

guys,

braking surface of the rotors has developed a nice rusted coating.
Is it safe to install them anyway and hope a few strong stops (i.e. stoptech's bedding procedure) will clean the surface up and make them work to their full potential or should I take them down to a shop and have them resurfaced?

well resurface would be the best but you should be able to clean them just start with slow nice stops not hard stops it will ware off.
