colors I am considering (also, I want to get the Nissan and 350Z stickers for the calipers after they are painted)
I do NOT want to go Gold, don't want to have "wannabe" Brembo look. And I don't want Black or Silver (too plain).
I am considering Red, Yellow and Blue (in NO particular order)
Red

Yellow

Blue

thoughts???

I vote for Red. With those wheels, red will stand out the most and it's the color most people associate with hi performance brakes. Too bad you can't stencil it at the same time

Silver is tough, either go for red or a mixture. I'm sure that paint will mix fine, just make sure you mix the reactive agent with each, let each sit 5 minutes, then start adding color to one container until you get the look you want. All that said, no idea what color you could go for, other than orange. Red is probably best. Blue would not look good on many cars I am thinking.

Rod, my first thought is red. One thing to think of is there any other decal or detail that will have color that you might add later? For example, I put on the Gray HRE center caps but I could have put on thier blue ones. If I did that, the blue would look great.
The more I think about it, yellow would look good. I have proven yellow looks good
I am super happy with mine. To bad you all can't see them in person, they look even better. I get compliments on them all the time.

I'd go with Red man. Silly comparison I know but I chose a Red Grounding kit because I think the color looks great with Chrome Silver. Just another thought.....there is a new paint available now that gives an anodized look available in red and purple and gold (I think). Anodized Red or Purple (my choice) might look sweet. Not sure how this new paint would hold up under temperature but it looks great and is made for car parts so worth considering.

I'd go for red or silver. Like someone else said the other colors would look cool if you had a theme going - more than one thing on your car that color.
Here is a link to my Chrome Silver with Red calipers:

i personally would just do black, but given your choices, i guess red would be the best imo. yellow, on the other hand, clashes too much with the amber reflectors in the front, and the red tailights in the rear.
[QUOTE] What's the anodized look? [QUOTE]
Anodizing is a process / coating (not paint) commonly used on many machine parts usualy blue, red, purple e.g. lots of HKS parts are purple anodized. Lot's of bike parts are anodized. The paint I refer to gives the 'anodized look', creates the effect that a part has been anodized, not painted. I attach an example - a HKS Cam Gear in anodized purple

Painted brakes=ANTI-RICE
I think of ANYTHING that you would see on a street Ferarri, porsche or BMW as NOT RICE (painted calipers being one)
ANYTHING that you WOULDN'T see on those cars and done in excess=RICE
I guess we have our own definitions.
