Default Brake Time

Ok, so I’m coming up to around the time in need new brakes and i have decided to up-grade. First a lil FYI about me....I don't track my car at all and don't plan on it. I do however plan on Turbo'ing my car. Nothing crazy just 38x-42xwhp range at the most. I have about 3k to spend on a brake kit and i prefer a red kit due to my time attacks. My first choice would be the Stock Brembo's painted red with some cross drilled rotors and some nice pads. Next would be the front Brembo 14' Cross Drilled with the stock rear's painted red...and last a set of Stop-Tech? 13 or 14...whatever i can get for the price. What do you guys think would best fit me? Also how well do the stocks fill out the Volks? Do you guys think i need anything more? Less (only front BBK with stock rear with nice rotors/pads)? Thank you for your help, and please don't flame me.

since you don't track, I say the OE brembo's would be perfectly fine for your application. Run either plain rotors or slotted, try to avoid cross-drilled because of stress issues which lead to more cracking issues than with plain or slotted. If you're into the looks of a bbk, i'd go stop-tech, simply because they're cheaper and you don't require an insane amount of stopping force. They also have good slotted rotors. Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the help...you think I will be able to pick up a set of Stop-Tech's cheaper than stock Brembo's? If so are you referring to only the front, or front and rear?

if you want a full Stop tech kit i would recommend looking for used. Brand new you will spend close to 4k.
