Question Input on KYBs ????

Has anyone had experience with the KYBs on the Z ? If so, what type ? My OEMs are close to shot. Im a Daily driver but prefer stiff susp. over comfort.

Konis be great but dont want to spent the $$$ now. I used the KYBs in my Vette Days.

Im having a hard time comeing up with indepth informative info online.

Prices are right from what Iv seen---I need to do shocks Fr/R and get some Sways, maybe endlinks, do a little urethane. Like I said...Performance is more important than Comfort or Noise factors

Ran the AGXs for awhile on my old civic. They were decent but I prefer tokicos better. Dont know too many Z owners with KYBs. Most have gone tokicos also.

I would say give the tokicos a go. I have been VERY happy with them.

I dont know of anyone runnign the KYBs on a Z, I am sure there are a few though. I run them on mt Pathfinder and like them.

KYB GR-2's and Tokico's newly introduced HP shocks for the 350Z should only be run with oem springs since they lack the valving needed for anything stiffer. Even for those that are not lowering, D-specs would still represent a superior choice, since they have really good valving and ability to run with stiffer lowering springs.

Does KYB make a compatable lowered Spring Shock ? As you can see, Im using the Eibachs and Iv got the Max drop, Close to an inch if I recall.

Just trying to narrow it down here

No.

Your best best is to buy Tokico D-specs or Koni sport shocks, either new or used.
