Enthu vs. Touring
Hi all,
I am looking into joining the Z family but have read some conflicting info about the suspension on the Enthu and Touring model. Some sites claim that the suspension on the touring model has been softened to smooth out bumps, while other sites say that the are the same. Which is correct? Thank you in advance for any help.

As mentioned above, all trim levels in any given year have the same exact suspension parts in every aspect. Shocks, springs and sway's are all the same.
What may have caught someone is the mid 2004 rolling change that was done to revise the oem suspension. A 04 Track model that didn't have the revised suspension would not feel the same as a 04 touring that did have the suspension revision's. So not all 2004 car's will ride and drive the same.
mid 2004 oem suspension revisions effecting all trim levels
Different shocks, less stiffness (compression dampning) and more rebound
Revised rear shock dustshields/bumpstops (added a soft foam rubber insert)
Stiffer rear springs +25% (342 to 427)
Stiffer front sway bar +17%

Tyvm, for all the help from the amazing members here. I guess you can't believe stuff you read, even from so called experts. Here is a copy of what an expert from cars.com wrote;
"One attribute I look for in every car, even the most tried-and-true sports-oriented one, is its ability to be a daily driver. These days, if you can't conquer both the worlds of the enthusiast driver and that of the real-world commuter, you're losing half your potential audience. That's no concern here; the 350Z is a joyous daily driver. Don't get me wrong — even with the Touring model's softer suspension it takes bumps severely, but the resulting jolt through the seats is acceptable. An intuitive clutch and short manual shifter help lessen any repetitive stress to the joints."
Here's the link if anyone is interested.

Thanks again everyone.
