Sway bars
I hoping to recieve a new nismo sway bar soon. The thing is I only purchase the front. Price was too good to pass up for a Nismo. The problem lies in I do not have a rear one. Would it be fine if I install just teh front ones for now, or just wait to buy a rear one as well. The second part is that a nismo rear from nissan is outrageous. I was wondering if I can use a sway from another kit, any recommendations would be great.

Yes on both your questions.
The rear sways are more important than the front set? Hmm, I always thought the other way around since teh fronts are thicker.
As well, do teh new sways just bolt on using stock items? Or do I need to buy anything extra.

The Nismo sway bar set (front and rear) are hardly worth installing.
. The Nismo rear away bar is actually softer than the factory sway bar (on an independant torsion test), and the front one is almost just as bad (with just a little more stiffer than the stock on the stiffest setting). Do yourself a favor and just buy a different set of after market sways. Like Stillen, Cusco, Eibach, 350EVO, Hotchkis, etc.

He said that the nismo's were garbage. He said that they don't perform too well because it's warrantied through the dealers so they can't use too aggressiev set ups.

I culled this from a post some time back about the Nismo sway bar rates:
Nismo Stabilizers
Front +18% (vs 03/04)
Rear -1% (vs 03-07)
Front +1% (vs 04.5+)
Rear -1% (vs 03-07)
Not sure what year Z you have, but it may be that the rear bar doesn't need to be changed. I thought I read that the 07 Nismo Z only replaced the front swaybar.
As for the S-tune susp do some reviews on this site, there is plenty of information out there.

I don't see where the warranty would come into it, given how anti-sway bars function.

the NISMO sways really are not worth the price of admission, relative to others on the market
they are marginally bigger than the 03-06 cars and really wont make a noticeable improvement
the NISMO springs/shocks are a great setup for those who want improved ride and handling, without slamming the car on the ground. It's downside, is they are expensive
