Default Rear Rotors

Hi,

I have a 350Z Touring edition without Brembo Brakes. I know that for sure. I have a mechanic who does the work on my car and we replaced the front rotors because the car was shaking like mad but its still shaking so I need to replace the rear rotors. My mechanic told me that the rear brakes are composite rotors (different from the front) so he can't turn them. I'd rather just replace them altogether but I don't exactly see composite rotors for sale anywhere so what do I look for to replace them with?

Thanks

It's probably not the rotors. Have the wheels rebalanced. If that doesn't fix it, look for worn suspension pieces, like ball joints.

yeah, check your hub bearings too. if it shakes only during braking then it would be the brakes

Agree. Its possible that warped rotors shake the front end when brakes are applied. But generally, rotors are not the cause of front shimmy.
