Default Cobb Tuning Spring/Sway Review.

Hello, my name is Paul and I am currently a owner of a 2006 Nissan 350z. This past week, I was lucky enough to be to test out the Cobb Sport Springs and the Cobb Anti Sway Bars. This sponsorship was possible due to Andy@Performance Nissan (I thank him greatly for getting me sponsored). Before the suspension upgrades, my car was rolling on everything stock besides rims, tires, and body kit. After a weeks worth of driving, I can totally feel the difference compared to the stock suspension.

First off, the springs give the car a very aggressive look. The 3/4" front drop and the 15/16" rear drop was perfect for my huge lip body kit, it was a perfect match for the JP Type N kit. The ride feels as if I have more control of the road, definitely because of how low it sits. The ride isn't bouncy or bumpy at all, it is a very smooth ride with much better handling .

The sway bars made a HUGE difference on the cars suspension. Right off the bat when I drove home, I knew that the handling was stiffer and more stable. Hitting sharp turns and corners stiffened up a lot, making the car extremely aggressive with handling.

After Picture:

Overall, I am pleased with the results of the Cobb products. Test driving a stock 350z then driving my Cobb upgraded 350z is a huge difference. I would recommend forum members and my friends to try out Cobb Springs/Sway Bars.!

Here are some extra pictures, if you want.

The drop is very mild but once the springs settle in, it will definitely go lower a bit more.

I have the exact same suspension on my 07 and love it! I have had it on now for 5 or 6 weeks and the car does settle down a bit lower. My front tires are almost tucked and it looks amazing!

the Hotchkis and Cobb sways are the same thing

the Cobb springs are stiffer than Hotchkis, since Hotchkis was designed around pre 04.5 cars and Cobb was designed on a later model (which have different struts)

I have an 06 - so do you think Cobb is a better bet? I would rather have the slightly bigger drop with the Cobb, but I keep reading stuff about how the Cobb are too big for their seats?? Do you know anything about being unable to install Cobb springs because of their size? Thanks.
