squeaky suspension noise
Since i got my coilovers (tein superdrift, SDF for short), i've been hearing this squeak from the rear everytime i go over speed bumps or on the freeway, just about every bump, i hear that noise. It sounds like an old car that needs a serious lubrication. The rear coilovers are set at the lowest height they can go, maybe that's part of the problem, maybe not. The noise is just too annoying to ignore. The funny thing is that i got in the trunk and made the car bounce up and down, but didn't hear any noise. What could be the reason for this ?
Does the rear coilover setup have the spring and strut as one unit, or does a spring go in the stock location? If it is one piece the shock bushing is most likely the cause for the noise, it was never designed to handle that amount of compressive force.
