new brackets and custom rotors as well as new brake lines, a custom master cylinder and proportioning valve to make sure the brake bias isn't screwed up. Expect to spend ALOT of money

Why would the rotors not fit, the sti has the same bolt pattern, and since i'm installing both the rear and front the brake bias should not be screwed up, am i wrong? I though i would need new brakets and thats it.
Damm i've got the make these work, i paid a lot for express shipping to canada, plus there will be duties and taxes when they get here, so there is no going back.
The rotors won't fit because the sti and the Z use different rotor backspacing, just look at the offsets an STI runs compared to a Z with brembos. Also the rear rotors on a Z have an internal drum that is used for the e-brake, not sure how the STI e-brake system works. As for the brake bias, the STI and Z have different weight distributions, so the brake bias setup will be different between the two cars. The piston sizing may be different also, causing the brake pedal travel to change, which is why a custom master cylinder may be necessary
The rear calipers ARE identical FWIW.....i would sell them and buy a Z set just to be safe tho!
my contact at brembo informed me no OEM setup will cross over to another application. The calipers may be identical in every way, except the mounting holes/brackets will be different
