Default R34 GTR Brembos on a 350z ??

Hi Guys,

i know a guy who is selling his GOLD Brembo brakes from an R34 Skyline GTR. They look exactly the same as the brembos on a 350Z so i was wondering if they would fit on the 350Z. I've asked around and there seem to be mixed opinions regarding the size of the bolts on the two cars. Apparantly one of them has thicker bolts than the other (can't remember which one uses bigger). Is this true ? Would the brakes simply bolt on to a 350z ?

Sorry if this has been covered already but i have used the search feature and been through lots of pages of threads and also looked at each thread in the brakes & suspension section but couldn't find any info regarding this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

they are the same set... they should fit given that you get the whole brake kit of the R34's

They will not fit. no oem brembo will cross over to another application.

my contact at brembo that I purchased my BBK from. The specs may match exactly, but they will not bolt on. they will require modified mounting brackets

I'm not questioning you. I'm talking about Bahraini350Z's post. Base on what he is saying it should work like plug and play with the complete kit. If that's the case then he needs to back it up with something before giving people bad advice.

I asked my guy at brembo about crossing applications with oem setups. He said no oem setup will cross over without modification to another application. At the very least, they have different mounting requirements

You just need to fabricate the rear disc cover as it will rubb. We have a number of R34s here and my mechanic checked one of them to have it fixed on my car before I found this totaled Z that I got my kit from. You may check the part numbers with nissan if u r hesitating.
