So i did search maybe not good enough but i didnt find anything that helped me. I put dot 4 brake fluid in. on the bottle it said its ok for dot 3 systems. And the next day my brakes sqeak like crazy. Its been about 2 weeks and hasnt stopped yet anyone know whats up?

 

Brake fluid and brake noise are unrelated.

 

it just seems like it would be since the next day it started sqeaking

 

if you needed fluid , its probably cause you also need new pads. As pad material goes away , you need more fluid at the pistion away from you master cylinder.
