Hey guys, I had a chance to meet BJ this weekend at the Grand Am and check out the sway bars and the bushings he mentioned in earlier threads- these things are serious!!! Very high quality and very rugged feeling. I'm actually considering purchasing a set and swapping them with my Cuscos.
BTW- thanks for your time this weekend BJ- It was nice to finally meet you and I know all the guys appreciate the time you spent talking with uis and showing us the products. Good luck on the rest of the season

Set has been ordered. I look forward to these bars, and hopefully I'll get them in ample time to have them installed before my track event at Summit Point 6/21-6/22.

dwnshift: like failsaf3 said, it was nice meeting the man behind the car. Thanks again for showing us the goodies and close access to the garage. The sway does look and feel serious!! As soon as I can allocate some cash, I think these will be the sways I'll be getting. Looking forward to your other products as well.
And most importantly, go kick some royal *** next week at Watkins Glenn.... I'll be cheering from home watching it on Speed Channel.

BJ,
Thanks for talking to me on the phone. I'm now fairly certain I'll be going with your set-up or S-tune.

Talk to you soon.

The bars are getting ready to be shipped out as we just received the bushings for them today.
The total cost is $545.00 to your door via ground.
Front bar is $295.00 shipped ground
Rear bar is $265.00 shipped ground
This is ground shipping inside continental US.
any other questions

Bringing this back from the dead... anybody installed theirs yet? I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow afternoon, just in time for some my event at Summit Point this weekend... hopefully I have enough beer to complete the job...

Hedonist, please let us know how you like them. I'll guarantee that you will!

Also.....what tires are you running?

I've got a few beers I'll share

I'll be trying my hardest to destroy my OEM RE040 crappos as I was approved for a new set of tires by the dealership. I'll be sure to do a writeup when I return from the track...

I believe that message boards should be used as a TECH site, so I'll document the installation and take some photos...

This weather sure is sh@t, no? I have my full Japanese spec S Tune shock/spring combo and the 350Evo bars sitting on my liviing room floor (thanks BJ and Gruppe S). I'm not sure when I'm going to get to install the damn things though with the weather as it is. We'll see. Give us a report when (if) you get them on Hedonist.
What setting do you plan on running? On the phone the other day, BJ recommended with the stock LSD and my S Tune kit to begin with full stiff in the front and med or soft in the back.

I forgot to say though...the bars are sweet...very nice/quality looking pieces. The front bar is massive though...damn. My girlfriend was doing over-the-head presses with it on my couch the other day.

I was planning on putting the setting on medium, both front and rear. Since the bar is a different design in the rear (more straight), would the lowest setting still be stiffer than OEM? I'm really not sure how the torsional rigidity specs play into the physics equation.

Yes, I too did a few curls with the front bar this morning... If I'm not able to get the bars on today, I'll probably just wait until my JICs arrive late next week for the install.

Did you run a search? Their's a how to install sway bars post floating around where the fellow happens to install the EVO bars. I believe he give a review of them in that post.
Since I can't figure out why you won't search for it, he it is.
