Default stoptech with different bias

I have 03' z with non brembo.

I just bought 06-08 14'' stoptech, but it has different bias.

How will it affect braking with non brembo real?

I am thinking of getting used brembo for rear.... if I get 06-08' OEM brembo,

is that gonna work with the stoptech?

it is not a good idea to get OEM rears. when purchasing a bigmbrake kit for the front, from stoptech, they offer a rear set up as well. if you change it up then you will have a ballance problem with bracking, and at high speeds you can actually spin out with hard breaking.

Brembo's will be fine , your kit is to be used with the 12.2 stock rotor while your car has an 11.2 rear. Basically you would want to bring the rear rotor closer to the stock size of the newer cars.

BTW all Brembo cars have the same size rotors.

The newer kits are more front biased than is ideal for either the standard brakes on the 03-05 cars or the Brembos. The only way to get your balance where it should be would be to get the 06-08 stock rear brakes, or just buy the correct set of calipers that will bolt right up to your existing brackets.

With all due respect, I am going to disagree with you. This unbalance effect and lost of rear control with a front BBK/OEM rears would only hold true during track driving from what I've read. During straight away breaking during street driving, whether hard or easy, would not cause the vehicle to loose control.

From experience, I owned the Stoptech 4 Pot fronts 2 years before finally purchasing the rears. During the 2 year period I've made many hard stops on public streets, and have never lost control or came close to it.

Calipers are the same, the brackets and rotors are different.

I was referring to our calipers which have different piston sizes specifically for the 03-05 models
