Default Suspension work for my Z

I'm not trying to go race at track or anything. I'm trying to lower my car a little from stock height. What's popular cheap set up? Could you also provide pictures too? Thanks =)

a lower center of gravity usually improves handling.

for track most ppl do coilovers
for the street, ppl just save money and buy springs.
id buy springs since im not a race car driver.

(also coilovers are good if your city is emo and has days where the hills are steeper on one part of the city and flat on the other)

you may want to get shocks while you're at it along with some other suporting mod you need to go along with them.

You should consider the springs you want based on what kind of aftermarket bodykit you're planning on getting, if any at all. Within the forum, the Tanabe GF 210 are pretty popular if you want 1.0" in front and 1.2" rear. http://www.invision350z.com sells them for around $150 shipped, which are pretty cheap IMO. Also, if you plan on dropping more than 1.0", it is HIGHLY recommended you get camber. The ones from SPC are like $150 for the rear toe.

If you don't use toe kit, your tires will rub unevenly and also wear out A LOT faster, so it is definately worth it to spend ~$150, considering tires are a lot more expensive.

first u want cheap, and looking good + improving handling

depends on how much willing to spend.

just think this way.

springs + install + alignment = total cost.

hotchkis and tein S-tech arre very popular
( but little drop )

tanabe and eibach givez you good drop too
( about 1" )

if u drop more then 1", it recommmmed CAMBER KITS ( extra money)

For me
GF210 + REAR CAMBER/TOE + alignment + installed = 600 bucks

hope it will help.

I forgot about the alignment as well. How much did they charge you for installation, or did you do it yourself? Just for the springs.
