brake pads w/ very low dust
But were the rotors fresh?
The reason I ask is because I am on my 4th set of EBC pads, 2 sets of green stuff on my Mini, one set of green stuff on my Z and using a set of red stuff on my Z now and the only ones that dusted where the ones I installed on the Mini without turning the rotors first.
The redstuff pads dust so little I can drive for a month and not really see anything. For that matter, they are also easy on the rotors as well.
On that note, for the Z, after trying both the green and red stuff pads, don't even bother with the green, they feel to soft and dont really stand up to the punishment the Z can deliver.

The rotors were brand new, so I guess that counts as fresh. And yes, the dusted like crazy. I never thought they were too soft, I saw a big improvement over the stock pads. I like the ceramics better, I think I'm gonna go with Project Mu next.
I would NOT do the ProjectMU if I were you. As I said ...........horribly dusty! Once the rims are clean I can't even go to the gas station without seeing dust all over them. And yes the pads were installed with new rotors!
I don't know what has happened to others EBC pads that they might dust so much but this is what mine look like after 5 x 60 miles a day in stop and go freeway and 1 x 2 hour drive through the mountains (page mill, skyline, 9, hicks, McKean, Baily).

I have heard nice things about EBC red's as a street pad. I am ordering some today for my C43 AMG. I'll give impressions in 2-3 weeks on the pads themselves.
Otherwise i would go with Axxis Deluxe.
* These are both STREET pads for semi-aggressive driving. If you drive more aggressively, you will need to sacrifice some noise and/or dust for a better pad.
For street or track, I would add some SS lines - feels better, and easy to install when you're already down there doing pads. Not too pricey, either.
