Default BEST LOWERING SPRINGS: non-coilovers

I am looking for a temporary drop before I get my coilovers. I have looked into the Eibach Pro kits, the Tein S-Techs, and the Hotchkiss springs. All I want is about a 1" drop (at the most due to tire clearance) and something that will work well with my stock shocks. Its a 2003 Touring model. Any info would be appreciated.

thanks

The hotchkis would the setup I would recommend, though the teins should be fine as well... I had eibachs on my previous car and I am sorry to say I cannot recommend them... I am partial to linear springs now

Hotchkis or the S Tech would be your best bet - both will be less than 1 inch drop, but will work well with your stock shocks

I Have Eibach Prokit and love them. Sometimes wish it was a lil lower.

I did search, and it brings up about a million different topics. So I decided to make my own with my specific situation

For such a mild drop either will do.

Same here. Wish the back was set a little lower. Thinking about doing the spring mount mod.

For the OP, I wouldn't worry about shocks right off the bat. But plan to get some. You can't really tell what time frame you'll need. But it won't be soon.

04.5 + cars have revised shocks that will deal with the Tanabe springs (GF, since thats all I've got any experience with) better than the pre 04.5 shocks
