Default TEIN comfort sport

Can anyone give me a reason NOT to get Tein comfort sport coils?

I am looking for a soft/stock ride and ability to adjust height.

Tein CS is one of the known setups that allow you to run "hard rubber mounts" which is a big plus with daily driven cars. Pillow ball mounts will "clunk" after time, even faster when driving on beat up roads.

If you don't want the CS, DON'T GET THEM.

What is the stock spring rate compared to the CS? I am also very interested in these coilovers.

2003/2004 oem spring rates 314/342 (shocks are stiffer vs all other production years, excluding 07/08 Nismo)

2004.5-2008 oem spring rates 314/427

Tein CS spring rates 392/392 valved to fullfill the mission as Tein's comfort product.

If your willing to work on a search (I say work because you will have to filter past a lot of useless posts), you will find a number of reviews and owner comments done over time on the CS. They are very well liked. The only negitive commments I can remember have come from those that didn't wise up to the fact that they are comfort valved and sprung, and found the setup too soft for aggressive or tracking driving. I ruled out the CS for myself a long time ago because I knew it was too comfort biased for my needs.

For what you want you are waisting your time looking at any other product since they will not be nearly as on target. Only other product that comes to mind would be the new HKS III, and not the sport version. You would gain full height adjustablity and digressive valving, but IIRC higher spring rates and pretty sure a higher cost. CS is the better choice based on what you want out of the suspension.

Thanks guys, it might have been worded strangely but I have spent a long time researching but on g35driver.com and to not much luck over there.

By the way I have a G35 coupe 2006 6MT. Same applies for this I hope, in case you all assumed I was in a Z.

I will NOT be tracking the car. I want a comfortable ride with height adjustment and the ability to stiffen later on if need be. I am on my 3rd suspension set up now and looking to switch again to coilovers.

One more thing.

What is the highest setting for height the CS coilovers offer? Meaning if I raised the car to the highest height, what would it be sitting at? Stock? or higher than stock or lower than stock?

Highest setting for the CS on a G35 coupe with +.2"/+.4"

Recommended settting is -1"/-.7"

Max drop setting is -2.5"/-1.5"

Can you tell me also if the CS setup is noisy in any ways? I have the 350evo arms on so I already have to deal with metal on metal, don't want any more noise either.
