I think you'll find they're the same size as stock.

Lotus they're exactly the same, color n all. My price was based on the fact that the owner of DBA Aus is a mate of my dads. I was hoping he'd give me them for free......some ppl r just tight!!!!

Regarding the Stillen issue, the DBA rotors r the rebadged Stillen rotors. I say this because the only told me so LOL

Apsilon i dont think the rotors i bought r the Long Life Series u had in that link. I bought them a while ago and remember the owner describing them as the 4000 series.....??? Not sure now. But they r grooved and slotted and have gold centres like the Long Life.

The 4000 series all have gray painted centres. They also have two sets of slots, the main slots and a small wiper slot at the edge.

Are they drilled and slotted or just slotted? Post a pic and I'll let you know what they are. I've been looking at DBA stuff a lot lately.

Aps they're identical to the discs Lotus has posted......gold centres, grooved and slotted (same amount of holes between each groove, etc)......i think 4000 mite have been the model no. then, 4600???

This was a while ago, maybe they have the Z discs in every series now..... Long Life, 4000 and 5000.

They r good quality discs, just take a pic from Lotus' post to the dealer, DBA direct, MRT etc and grab a set. Mine r acting as paperweights atm.

No pics for a while, digi cam is at gf's place and she's banned me from distracting her for the next few days coz of exams

Then they're the long life gold. Some of the discs look slightly different depending on the car they're for.

I'm going to look at the 5000 series when the time comes and if the change is made that was brought up at the factory the other week.

As I said I was at the factory just the other night and was fairly impressed with the manufacturing and particularly the QC. They're a quality product and they do look good. Didn't occur to me the gold colour would match the Brembos.

As for price we're buying a local product. You're buying one that has to be shipped across the globe, the imported probably pays import taxes etc etc so you'd expect the price to be higher just as I pay a fortune to buy things from the US. FWIW I think ZEXC-33 did get an excellent price, I would have expected closer to AUD$600 for all 4.
Why don't you buy them and ship them to us and make a little overide?

Just a follow up. These cut down the brake dust by about 70%. Soo much nicer.

I personally think the 5000 series is overkill for the Z. To get the benefits of such a specialised rotor id imagine ud have to upgrade brake lines, fit racing carbon pads and racing brake fluid.

But each to their own. Would like to know what they cost....

Just off the topic Aps, what have u purchased from the US???

I'm mostly interested in the 5000 series for the weight reduction. Other than that I will be running a decent track orientated brake fluid by the time I actually hit the track.

Purchased from the US? Car wise off the top of my head:
Springs, sways, shocks, strut brace, injectors, fuel pump, clutch, flywheel, intercooler, knock sensor, various badges, gearknob and brake handle, rear spoiler, gauges. Probably a lot more that I'm forgetting.
