Default HELP! Changing flat on lowered ZR...

Need advice ASAP...

I got a flat on my rear tire on the way to work this AM...about 2 blocks from the office . I had to get to work ASAP so had a coworker pick me up and right now the ZR is safely parked on a residential street. I'm thinking most likely I'm going to need to replace the tire (probably all 4 now since they were getting worn anyway ). The logical thing to do would be to put the donut on it and go to a tire place...but will the jack that came with the Z fit if it's lowered 1"? I use a racing jack at home so have never tried the stock one. Trying to decide if I should just fork out the $$ and have a flat bed pick it up (no AAA). Thanks!

Cool...thanks. I just hope I didn't mess up the rim. I think it blew as I was gunning it making a right hand turn from the onramp (had to beat oncoming traffic). It was making a horrible popping noise ...

On my civic I kept a little 6x6 1/2 inch thick piece of wood so I could roll back onto it and get that little extra clearance for the jack. This was on a slammed car though, I can't imagine the factory jack not fitting on yours.

^Good point. Worse case scenario, take a block of wood with you to roll on to get some extra clearance, but I don't think it'll be necessary.

Yes

EDIT: Oh wait, it's flat. Better drive up on a piece of wood, like a 2x4

OK...I'll find a 2x4 somewhere. Probably a good idea to keep one with me in the future

The scissor jack sucks for the Z. The one that came with my car broke. It also doesn't lift the Z at the point that your lifting it. It practically lifts the whole body up.
