As long as you have it apart, might as well change it all out. You'll need to bed the new pads to the rotors.

No, your used pads will be fine on new rotors.

I hope ur joking.

If your old pads are worn they will not contact the rotor correctly which can cause problems later down the road. FOr the price of pads you should do it cause rotors cost a good amount.

Im not joking. Unless the pads are mostly worn down, there is no reason to change your pads for new rotors. Pads will very quickly mate with the new rotors, especially when a bed in procedure is performed.

You are right but in my experience, most people that have to replace their rotors are long overdue for pads. I kinda explained it wrong!

Better safe than sorry! Pads are cheap just buy em!

Are you trying to argue with someone who works for Stop Tech!? What you're reading is a professional advise from someone who does this for a living . . .

Ah ! Party pooper!

This was getting fun to read! Aha!

Seriously, like Erik said, when replacing rotors or pads, it is not necessary to change everything or turn the rotors if they are still in good shape.

Bingo. I think this falls into the "While you're at it" category unless the pads are very new. If the OEM pads are still on there then definitely do it, if for no other reason than putting a pad on that is less dusty.
