Default FYI: z1auto endlinks

I would recomend these to anyone who has upgraded sway bars!

I installed the new swaybar endlinks that adam @ z1auto.com has. Perfection! I had previously installed the spl endlinks and they led me to clunking and binding worse than when the stockers failed.

I will post pics tomorrow (it started raining here in NY when i was finishing up). Great articulation and no noise at all!

I noticed that I had to stretch my endlink to put on my cusco sway bars on my 1.5'' lowered car with 10'' rear wheels +18 offset (everything from you guys =D ). I haven't noticed any clunking so is this necessary?

Never had any issues with my SPL front or rear endlinks. I take my Z to autocross at least once/twice a month with no issues. I've taken it to a road course a couple of times recently with no issues.

More than likely, you probably did not adjust the SPL endlinks to the appropriate length to prevent the clunking or binding introduced by aftermarket sway bars.

If I have the stock swaybars but have coilovers, can I just match the length up to the stock one and put em on?

Yep, that's the safest method to start with.

if you have coilovers and get adjustable endlinks you would be well served to have the car properly cornerweighted as well

Adam

Any word or explanation as to why these don't work with the 350evo sways? You've mentioned this before, so I haven't purchased yours. But I have been wary of SPL's as per rx7/350z's post.

Thx

it's due to the way the 350evo end pieces are designed...they simply are not compatible

With proper adjustment on the SPL endlinks, you should not experience failure in 10k miles.
