I have the Airrunner setup in my G, IMO it can ride like stock depending on damper settings. Airrunner system has a 4 level adjustment damping mechanism, I have mine set on the stiffer/sportier side. These kits are not universal fitment, its full strut/shock replacement, so they are only designed to fit the G35/350z. Unfortunately, Airrunner set-up is not cheap, around $4-5K. If you search the Z/G forums, you can fine few Z's/G's with the Universal Air set-up, which is more affordable around $2.5K, installs with your current suspension. You also have the Roberta cup kit which uses coilovers, but its pricey around $6K, its the best airride kit for tracking.

Just to clarify, the Roberta setup is only intended for temporarily lifting the car to get over speed bumps, up driveways etc....

Did you ever finish that widebody project, TT with built motor? Did you do a color change as well? Seems like its been almost 3yrs.

Look for some of the threads on how it works. Its mainly ment for performance b/c you can still run a coilover and it doesnt affect how the suspension acts at all. I agree its outrageously expensive but its the best option out right now for people that dont want to sacrifice any performance but still be able to get the lip of a car over stuff.

The universal air kit replaces your springs, but maintains the existing shock. So you can still run adjustable performance dampers. not sure what the "spring rate" for the airbags would be though...i guess that would depend on air pressure
