Default noob help, lowering my Z!

ok i recently bought a 04 ppw 350z,but before this i had 2 trans ams and 1 camaro,i must say, i feel like i moved way up in the world after i started driving my Z!

now my question is this, i have 18's on the car and its still at stock height,i want to lower the car 2 inches, but before i do i need some professionals opinions (you). is 2 inches too much for the car and by too much i mean is it gonna be hard on the car, im not worried about a rough ride for me or anything like that because all my cars have been dropped. any help is appreciated, i am a noob to the Z world so i can use any extra advice!

I went with Tanabe GF210's and they dropped my Z about 1 1/4" which seems to be about perfect as far as not rubbing the bottom of the car (too much) and not rubbing the fender wells, which are pretty close. If you went with that much drop you would also need a camber kit.

If you want to lower your car without having to get a camber kit, go with hotchkis or teins.... although the drop will not be as low as you want

+1^, wrong section. IMO, if your gonna go that low save up and do it right with coilovers. If you use springs the ride is gonna be shitty and you will have to buy camber kits. good luck.

for street driving dont go less then mono flex's.
and to be safe on your suspension and for a better ride and better wear on your tires you WILL want to get a camber kit
