Ksport brake kit eliminate E-brake?
I just bought the rear Ksport bbk for my z and it came in while I am out of town at a conference. I had my wife back home, take photos of the rear brake rotor and send them to me, but the pics are not clear enough. Does the ksport rear brake kit eliminate the oem ebrake? I need an e-brake for the 6spd and remote start.

not if it was designed correctly.
unlike most normal vehicles which incorporate the stock caliper as the e-brake mechanism
the z alongside the evo/sti/z32/etc... use a drum within the rotor as the e-brake function.
take a look at the rear rotor. they should have a drum style lining inside.

yes thats true. .the rear rotor should have about a 2 inch lift from the middle outward in order to incorporate the inner shoes for the E-brake. .
i'd show you an exploded view of it. .but cannot seem to find one in my shop key.,

those are 20"s. I also have an eibach pro kit drop at 1"front and rear. Those brakes are awsome! The response is so much better than the stock ones. Course I did not have the brembos to begin with! But never the less, I am really pleased!
