Default does brake fluid expire

i have 3 bottles motul rbf600 brake fluid that i bought about 2-3 years ago and never used. i'm doing a track event (my first) next weekend and i was wondering if it would be ok to change out my current brake fluid with the 2-3 year old motul that i have.

the brake fluid sat im my closet the whole time, so it was kept more or less at room temperature, the bottles were never opened, and they were in a zip lock bag the whole time

As long as they've never been opened, they should still be good.

No expiration date on brake fluid, this stuff is hygroscopic (it absorbs water from the atmosphere). As long as you have not opened the seal on the containers you are good to go. You might want to look at the wear on your brake pads, might be a good time for some new pads. I like Hawk HKS, just a opinion.

Enjoy your first track day, they are aDDictive.

I believe Motul fills their bottles in a nitrogen filled environment, so there is no way moisture can make its way into the bottles before they are sealed. You should be good to go

You are correct - they advertise them as nitrogen filled so that should help extend the shelf life.
