Stiffer Springs, Stock Height

I've been looking around, and it seems I cant find any springs that are stiffer but maintain stock height.
My reasoning for this is because I hate having to drive sideways over speed bumps. My MkIII supra has tanabe springs, and I have to drive over speedbumps 2-3 mph sideways. At the same time I still want the suspension to be a little more stiff. I'm also looking into new shocks as well.
Should I look into getting coilovers to being able to maintain height? or should I just get OEM springs?

UTI is okay, Some teachers cant teach but thats to be expected when you throw an experienced technician into a book/lab teaching environment. Other than though, its fun.

Have you looked into Hotchkis springs? They're not stock height, but they don't lower the car all too much. They'd probably be the springs that fit your description the best. Coilovers would be kind of overkill for what you want, unless you plan on taking your car to the track or autocross. But coilovers would do exactly what you're looking for if you're willing to spend the money.
By the way, I just installed an Eibach pro-kit on my car, and these southern california roads are no problem for how low it is. I can easily plow over speed bumps, but I don't since I do not want to wear out my shocks any more than necessary. The Hotchkis springs would be even less of an issue.

Well currently I live in rancho cucamonga and speed bumps in some of the places 3-4 inches off the ground some even have nicked underneath my z going about 5-7 mph!
And yes I do planning on going to the track just not yet, while I'm in school its kinda hard to find time to go. Hence stiffer springs and not coilovers, they will come eventually

The RS-R springs look like a pretty solid choice for him. They lower about 0.6" front and rear, right?

ya I was looking at the Rsr springs, and they look like a good choice. Anyone know who has em? just looking for an opinion of rsr as daily driving springs

Not sure which year you have, but if its an 03-04 then upgrade to the 04.5+ springs because they are stiffer in the rear with the same height. Another option is to purchase a set of adjustable shocks such as the tokico d-specs and cranking up the dampening. That will give your suspension a tighter overall feel, and combined with some swaybars, I think you will achieve the stiffer feeling you are after.

No aftermarket spring kit will do what you want and not drop the car.
You can compromise you zero drop requirement and go with some very good springs being mentioned by others. I don't know how much stiffer vs oem your wanting, most spring choices aren't too much stiffer then oem.
Not all coilover products can get to or even close to oem rice heights.

I don't know how much, umm mojo you've got but you can do a do it yourself kit as follows.
Koni sport shocks
Koni coilover kit for front shocks part# Kon30.0000 (2 x $75)

Eibach ERS 8" tall springs for the front, your choice of rate Do not exceed 550lbs IMO.
Eibach ESS 5" OD 11" tall springs your choice in rate, trim or shim oem upper spring seat to set rear ride height.

these folks can make springs to your spec's. I had them make reproduction springs for the 1984 300ZX 50th AE Turbo a few years ago because the originals were NLA from Nissan.
