Default Most Rear Camber you can run Safely?

What's the most amount of rear camber you can run safely on the street?

If I did -3 in the rear, would that be too much? I might even need to push it more than that, not sure yet.

Thanks.

depends on how much straightline driving you do.

but i think -3 in the rear will be too much even for track work.

well, you will get much better cornering with neg camber. But the downside are uneven tire wearing and your car might float a little bit, if you go really fast.
Anything less than -3 should be safe!

Ok, ok. The engineer in me is screaming anything less than -3 would be a larger negative number, like -3.5. Negative numbers work backwards - less is more and more is less, um, you know. lol

You have to keep in mind that the more negative camber you run the less effective the car will be in braking and accelerating. I use my car on the track and run -2.0 F and -1.6 R. That is a happy medium. Keep in mind the on the street the road is crowned and that puts even less of the tire in contact with the street which could lead to overheating and possibly failure on the portion of the tire in touch with the pavment.

Beside the neg. on camber, the degree on toe can also affect the tire wear. Where in CA are you locate at? I know some really good alignment shop in Sacramento area, they can adjust the toe and camber by ur tire wearing! Also, by using the non-directional tire can also help the wear. At least u can keep rotate them and flip them! I use Nero P-zero, very good on wet, but not too good on try. Perfect for street use.

I run -3.2 on the rear and -3.0 up front with the Nt01's 295/315 and is just incredible. I have ran that on the street for about 1300miles with no problem. I run -2, -2 all around with the street tires and have no major traction problems.

I recommend -2 all around with 19" wheels and simi big rubber. -3 on the track all day long, with some nice R compund tires.

That's a shyt load of camber. I don't know how you get traction with -3 on the track.

Is that the same car? What are your wheel sizes/offsets? What shocks and srping rates are you running?

Yep same car I have a track bumper and side skirts I put on. I rather sacrifice a little traction for more corner grip. It not that bad at all.
