Default Anyone tried Project Mu HC+ (plus) pads?

I've searched and searched but can't find any feedback on anyone that has tried these pads???

I'm looking for a pad that will survive a track day (HPDE) but also be reasonable on the street. This is always a debatable subject because I know you can't have the best of both worlds with any single set of pads. However I don't daily drive the car that much so streetability isn't as much of a concern as something that will stand up to a track day without transferring pad material over to the rotors.

I have already posted this in the track pad database? thread with no response.

These Project Mu pads are called the HC+ (plus) on the vendor website. I have found them for sale on MyNismo.com under this name and also on ProjectNissan.com under the name "HC Titan Kai" but they seem to have the same specs and are priced about the same.

I'm looking for someone that has used these pads on any level and can comment on their performance.

Thanks for your comments.

The HC+ will be the closest track pad you can get for the street from the PMU line. The carbon-metallic compound is surprisingly non-abrasive to rotors yet offers a high temperature heat capacity. Next up is the Level Max 900 but that might a bit much for a street driven vehicle.

PMU HC+
Material: Carbon Metal (Asbestos Free)
Applicable rotor temperature: 0~800Mu
Friction coefficient: 0.40~0.60μ

Thanks for the reply Andy, I think I might give them a try.

Would you recommend another pad for what I'm looking for? I have an '04 G35 6MT with OEM Brembo's. The Hawk HPS pads could not stand up to the heat of a track day (not even close).

I'm going with a new set of PowerSlot rotors (cryo treated) all the way around and need to pair them up with a decent set of pads that can handle a few track days a year but still be usable on the street.

Try out the HC+. I hear they're supposed to be pretty good.

After some more research on these pads, they seem to be highly used in Australia on R33 and R34 Skyline's. I have seen nothing but good comments about these pads both on the street and track.

As expected some people experience brake dusting and some squeaking but I will accept that as a compromise for pads that will handle street and track!

I just put in my order my mynismo.com, I will post up in the track pad database after testing these out.
