Default problem after installing tein s techs

after installing my s techs today...the passenger side sits lower than the driver side(1/4-1/8 inch) .......something wrong with this one? did i miss something?

hmmm i have s-techs and don't seem to have that problem. Are you sure you don't have a fat g/f sitting in the passenger seat when examining the ride height?

Maybe you should try to re-install them and check again.

its probably to compensate for when you sit in the drivers seat and lower the car with your weight..........maybe? at that point itd be level

they need some time to settle.

check again after about 500 miles.

no... my gf only weighs 105 lbs ...no one was on the car when i checked it.

bump!..i went to a local shop....they told me that there is something wrong with the springs itself....either they will cut it or get a new one!....

dont cut the spring....................take it to a different shop.

check tire pressure..maybe they didn't seat the springs on the rubber mount with the original groove?

if you just installed the spring, check after 48h, same thing happend to me after spring install!! they need time to be settled!!! after couple days, weeks, ride height will be more lower then it is now!!! GL

did you put the coil end in the same spot on the seat as the old one on both sides ?

Sitting in the same spot, as in the top groove? If so I do not think that really matters, I think they will just re-create a new groove. But I put mines in the same groove or tried to anyways.

i took my car to a shop...to make sure but.. they told me that theres something wrong with the springs itself...they will cut it or ill buy new one! (btw springs are brand spanking new)

Dont CUT! Its only been a few days, give it time to settle. Or is it too late?

where did you buy them? and are you sure you got authentic tein springs? i heard this was an issue with the fake ones that were being sold on ebay

Yeah make sure you did not get the fake Teins. There is a link somewhere on here that shows the difference in the two.
