Hey guys recently installed Zeal Function X coilovers, and the car has developed squeaking noise from driver side rear suspension. I'm not sure the squeaking was from the getgo cuz I was always drivng around my windowns rolled down. It's squeaking like there is no tomorrow except when I'm on smooth surface. What could be causing this squeaking noise? Could it be that my tires are rubbing against the fender instead?
hmmm maybe a camber issue... well, if u did the install urself... get it checked or sumthin at bob janes t-mart or sumthin... if u had it installed at a shop, take it up with them
sorry man.. no help here... good luck...

Camber issue? What sort of camber related issue would it be? I haven't installed camber arms, but I know people who slammed their car with crazy negative camber issue and don't have this problem.
well, its just basic coilover noise from what your saying. remember you are replacing your stock rubber/plastic top mounts with a full metal pillowball mount/spherical bearing. ive heard squeaking on every coilover i have ridden in with that type of top mount, unless its rattling or something then you may have an issue.
try to set the dampening a little higher (harder) setting.

the noise is perfectly normal, my bc racing coils do the same thing. it scared the sh*t out of me the first time i went over a bump, it sounded like i ran over a cat.

I don't think I can afford to higher my damper settings for street use..anything higher will be only suitable for track use, lol!
