Default BC coilovers noisy?

going through springs, they seem to be not for me. I tried teh greddy coilovers, dont' like it. I was thinking of BC coilovers with all the good reviews and smooth ride. I was wondering if they squeek and creak like other full coilovers? any negative or cons about this coilover set up? for 1000 bucks, i don't see it going wrong too much.

Was the only thing you didn't like about the Greddy coilovers a squeeking sound? Must have been something else about them you didn't like that made you take a loss on them and pull them off the car.

it had tons of adjustment but it seemed like i can barely feel the different in between the setting. Soft was always too soft where ride quality was bad, stiff was never "enough" for some reason as well. I just thought it was a crappy design or something. I've rode in a Z with the Tein flex coilvers and it handled a lot better but was a bit too harsh for me and he had the edfc and was adjusting it for me to see the smoothest setting. It just wasn't smooth enough.

Basically i'm looking for a coilover that can be smoooth but can be adjusted when i want as well without being a noisy coilovers. It might be imposssible to find a quiet coilover but it doesn't hurt to try.

I may switch over to BC by the end of the year but we'll see. Honestly I like my Megan coilovers. I have never owned coilovers before my G so I don't have a lot to go by. And I don't track the car as of yet. If I feel they do not perform up to par, I will be switching them out for something more suitable.

When the G gets done we can go for a ride if you want.

Adam@z1 suggested the Bilsteins when I talked to him about it at Zdayz.

I haven't had mine on for long, but so far they are very compliant in the soft setting and pretty harsh on hard. The settings range from 0-30, I have mine in the middle towards hard 19f and 15r and it seems perfect for my style and comfort. The ride no matter what setting, is better than my s-tune suspension was over bumps. I believe it has to do with the spring rates in the rear, the nismo just didn't seem to absorb the bumps as well. I've heard from other people that it makes a clunk type noise(which most coilovers do), but I have yet to hear anything. So far it has to be one of the best investments I've made and adjustibility is so simple, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Mine are set in the middle for daily driving and love it. You'll get noise on any pillowball mount so it's just something that's there, but it's not annoying or anything. I love mine.
