We can all stop wondering if the stock 17" wheels will fit over the Brembo's
I got a set of front Brembo brakes from a Track model owner who installed a set of Stoptech's and it came along at the right time as I was about to pull the trigger on the 13" Stoptech's and these were a great deal.
I know it is filthy but I haven't cleaned it since the last track event. Now I need a set of tires for the 17's so I can save the Rays.
Any suggestions on a tire that is a good track tire but driveable to and from the track with the possibility of rain and not expensive. I don't feel like spending another 900 bucks as I did for the T1S'.
Here is a shot of the wheel installed:

I would say that between the spokes and the caliper there is about 1/2 inch at the closest spot as well as at the tightest spot between the caliper and the inside diameter of the wheel.

Are these tires just for tracking the car?
If so, I'd just get some DOT legal race tires that you can use to drive to the track, but I wouldn't have rain as a consideration. If it's rainy, wouldn't you just use your street tires that day.?
I'm not too familiar with track tires, but I've seen quite a few people with Kumho somethingorother...Victoracers I think is what they were.
Might try looking into those.

Are your Brembos on the right side?
I'm just wondering if you installed the calipers on the correct side. I just installed a set of AP Racing 6 piston & the bleed valves are located on the top side of the caliper. I see that your bleed valves are pointing down, seems like pointing up would allow the air bubbles to rise up & out. Not having looked at a stock Brembo install up close I have to question this.
