Metallic "creeking" coming from pas. rear
Whenever I take off the car makes a strange creeking sound from the rear pas side of the car..if im in first gear it creeks on accell and decel...its not a clicking sound like axles make..but who knows..anyone have any ideas?
check to make sure your lug nuts are torqued down tight. I had this exact problem and it turned out to be that I forgot to torque down one of the wheels after I swapped them, they were only hand tight!
Other than that it could be the axle hub bolt that is on the end of your hub, needs to be torqued down to 220ft/lbs

I was going to suggest; Check out your axel nuts. My driver side rear came loose and cause $1,300+ worth of damage. Brembo's got trashed, along w/ pads, rotors, hub bearing, etc....
I think I might make a nice thread about my experience later. Give some older Z owners a heads up that they might have to retorque their axel nuts.
