crazy brake wear please help!
ok, i do drive very spirited quite often and probably drive it in track like conditions. but the inside of my rotors wear much faster than the out side. ive gotten them hot enough to glow and smoke, so i know they've seen more heat than there suppose to but the inside of the brake is where the most wear is . the outside close to perfict. this is happeing to all my brakes but the rear did this plus cracked in two places fronts just have micro cracks.
brakes are standard none brembo 2003 with the stoptech stage 2 upgrade with hawk hps pads or something close to that name
close up of in side rotor

that was quite helpfull but the z's front calipers are located in front of the axle does this just mean the car toes in under brakeing
"Differences in wear between the inner and outer pads arise for two different reasons. The first is a car's tendency to "toe out" under breaking, that is, for the front half of a tire to move outward, the rear half inward. Because of this tendency, we compensate by giving cars a little toe-in in their alignment. This toeing places a little more load on the inner pad in a caliper mounted behind the axle."

Single piston floating calipers will wear like that. There is only one piston on the inside. You are way overheating those pads!
Your going to get brake failure and kill yourself on the street or maybe someone else. Maybe even someone you know. The street isn't the place for that.

throw those rotors out or if they are turnable, have them turned (to me they look dead) or buy new rotors. buy new pads. save the racing for the track.

i dont race on the street.. but some times in very lowy populationed area's ill drive the crap out of the car for one minute or two. you can feel the stage of fade the brakes are in so i wont let them get to that point. i dont go 150 and hit the brakes its just lots of 70 to 40 braking.
i think im just going to turn them.

he says he has a stoptech stage 2, so he already should have lines and fluid. thing is, i have non-brembos and i drive pretty hard and never had rotors/brakes look like that.
